There’s a lot of debate around algorithms and the fact that we have essentially lost control over “what we see, read—and even think—to the biggest social media companies.”It’s caused echo chambers around politics, given life to conspiracy theories, perpetuated misinformation and terrorism, and completely altered news consumption.
